Easter Park is a small country estate situated in the South Gloucestershire Cotswolds between the market town of Nailsworth and the village of Nympsfield. Its elevated position overlooks the stunning Woodchester valley with its? romantically ruined mansion and adjacent parkland.
The main house, partly dating from the 16th Century, is surrounded by exquisite Cotswold stone farm buildings, organic farmland and orchards. Built as a model early Arts and Crafts and home farm on the famous Woodchester estate it sits on an ancient site along the old Roman road between Uley and Woodchester. The owners programme of restoration and re - landscaping is respectful of both the historic architecture and ambient ecology. Whilst the farm is being slowly brought back to life there are new possibilities to enjoy.
Easter Park has three long term rental properties and the (shortly to be launched) retreat spaces which will offer luxury rustic escapes available to rent.
This is the overlooked yet magical side of the Cotswolds, far from the crushing crowds; rich in culture, retail and gourmet experiences. The location lends itself equally to those who want to both enjoy country pursuits and would like somewhere to relax and entertain away from the stress of daily life.
Visitors can enjoy the land; partly wooded, but mostly rolling fields and from Easter Park can walk down a private track and visit Woodchester Mansion and from there cycle, ride or walk through 500 acres of National Trust land. Breathtaking scenery includes four Capability Brown designed lakes, set in total tranquillity and unparalleled beauty.
For those guests with children there are beautiful glades to discover and ducks, pigs and chickens to feed as well as eggs to collect! At dusk deer and badgers can be spotted, as well as the Horseshoe bats which use this organic pasture land to feed on.
